Getting Started with ToFF Attunement

This guide assists new Foundation personnel, board trustees, and research coordinators in setting up their desktop and mobile environments for ToFF Attunement.

Access Details

• Portal URL: https://listen.tomoffinland.org
• Account Provisioning: Managed centrally by the Foundation Administrator. Public sign-ups are disabled to preserve institutional data integrity.
• Authentication: Email and assigned password authentication.

1. Desktop Browser Setup

For team members monitoring digital press, essays, and online discourse on desktop computers:

1. Open Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
2. Visit the web store repository:
   • Chrome Web Store: Search for KaraKeep (or Hoarder)
   • Firefox Add-ons: Search for KaraKeep
3. Install and pin the extension icon to your browser toolbar.
4. Click the extension icon and configure settings:
   • Server Address: https://listen.tomoffinland.org
   • API Token / Credentials: Enter your assigned credentials.
5. Click Save. The extension icon will indicate an active connection.

2. Mobile Client Installation (iOS & Android)

To capture cultural conversations, screenshots, and media on mobile devices:

• Apple App Store (iOS): Search for KaraKeep App
• Google Play Store (Android): Search for KaraKeep App

Critical Initial Configuration

Mandatory Server Configuration Notice

When opening the mobile app for the first time, do not attempt to log in using only your credentials on the default screen. Directly underneath the primary sign-in button, tap the server configuration field and enter the Foundation instance URL: https://listen.tomoffinland.org. Failure to set this server URL will result in a connection failure.

1. Launch the KaraKeep app on your device.
2. Tap the Server Address field located underneath the primary sign-in button.
3. Input:

   https://listen.tomoffinland.org

4. Enter your institutional email address and assigned password.
5. Tap Sign In.
6. Once signed in, proceed to User Guides to configure the 1-tap iOS Share Sheet.
